Abstract

KTSP sebenarnya sudah berhasil mengakomodasi tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21 yang sangat menekankan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif, kemampuan komunikasi dan sosial, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan kemampuan mengambil risiko (risk-taking skills). Permasalahan dalam dunia pendidikan tidak bisa terselesaikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan satu aspek saja. Misalnya dalam masalah kurikulum, problem yang muncul merupakan akibat dari sistem pendidikan yang salah, dan kesalahan dalam hal ini akan berdampak pada sistem secara keseluruhan. Sehingga menghasilkan lingkaran setan, yang jaring-jaringnya tidak akan terputus, sebelum adanya perombakan secara sistemik terhadap kebijakan di bidang pendidikan
