Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Meningkatkan Produktivitas dan Daya Saing Gula Merah di Desa Sungai Raya

This service aims to help provide community understanding to increase brown sugar productivity in Sungai Raya Village, Batang Tuaka District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau, to be more productive so that it can be competitive. This service is carried out through socialization and training. This socialization and training use mentoring, discussion, workshops, and interview methods. This service begins with identifying outreach and training that can increase the productivity and competitiveness of brown sugar. Socialization and training that can increase productivity and competitiveness are packaging design training, socialization of production factors, socialization of marketing strategies, and socialization of financial reporting. It is hoped that this socialization and training will include design training to increase purchasing power, socialization of production factors to provide an understanding of optimizing brown sugar production, socialization of marketing strategies to provide an understanding of strategies to increase income and sales, socialization of financial reporting design to provide an understanding of the importance of financial reporting. The training results were very positive because the participants felt that the socialization and training materials were beneficial and helped provide an understanding of improving the economy of the brown sugar business for artisans in the village.
